THE STAIRWAY

There comes a time in our lives where we don’t see through the same lenses.  A time where our perspective completely changes.  We don’t place value on the same things anymore.  We don’t engage in the same conversations we used to.  We don’t like the same things. The world as you see it is different!

You start noticing that the people you’ve known for a while have changed.  That in many ways they are no longer the same.  Perhaps the things you had in common no longer exist. You wonder how this change has happened to so many people you know, over time!

THEN YOU STOP AND REALIZE, WAIT A MINUTE!

MAYBE IT’S NOT THEM!

MAYBE IT’S ME!

Don’t get me wrong, just because you view the world and those around you differently, doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing!  And just because you see people differently, it’s not considered a negative.  We are programmed to believe that “different” is bad, but it doesn’t have to be.

While each of us are here on earth experiencing our individual lives, we go through highs, lows, and everything in between.  We can all certainly relate to this at some level.

But it’s through the lows, through our trials that we experience this transformation more intensely!  Not only do we begin to view others with a new set of eyes, but we wake up one day and realize that “sweating the small stuff” is no longer worth it. Perhaps you notice you don’t like the same things.  You begin to show gratitude for everything and everyone!  And since you’ve experienced lows, you cherish your joys that much more.

But not everyone is experiencing the same things, on the same day, at the same time. Remember we are all on our own individual life journey, unique to each of us.

It’s as though we are all climbing on our own PERSONAL STAIRWAY.  The more we experience, the more we climb, step by step. As we learn lessons, we are no longer able to stay on our previous step. Because we’ve morphed into someone else. So, we instantaneously and without warning move to the next step, and so on.

If you’re like me, perhaps your perspective has changed. Perhaps you’re currently in the process of climbing to YOUR next step on your PERSONAL STAIRWAY!

If so, be at peace with the process!  Because we are not meant to stay stagnant.

REMEMBER THAT CHANGE IS GOOD, WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE IT SO!

  1. Wow sister! You are an excellent writer! This is so true. But only you know how to put it on paper. Can’t wait for the day when it’s the right time for you to write a book.
    Peace be with you!
    Your sis,
