NOTHING IS EVER REALLY WASTED

Whether you believe this to be true or not . . .

NOTHING IS EVER WASTED!

No failure, no mistake, no pain, no loss,

no experience . . . NOTHING!

There are reasons why things happen!  It’s as though there is a perfect master plan for our lives.   And although oftentimes we might not fully comprehend it, nevertheless it is unfolding daily.

I know you’re probably thinking, “Really?,  A master plan?”

I don’t proclaim to fully understand it myself, although I have experienced it to some degree.  I can tell you that while going through trials in my own life, at first it makes absolutely NO SENSE!

But as time passes, things have a way of becoming clearer.  You see, time allows us to have a deeper understanding of our situations and our circumstances.

Ever held a paper with written words right up close to your eyes?  All you see is just blurred writing, right?  But as you slowly move that paper away from your eyes, the writing starts to become clearer.  Continue moving it farther away and you will begin to see even better. However, it is not until your paper is held at a far enough distance from your eyes, that reading is possible.  And it is at this pivotal moment that you begin to make sense of it all!

It is in this SAME WAY that we experience every trial and every circumstance in our lives.  At first, we cannot make sense of it. In those first moments or even days we question EVERYTHING!  What usually follows is doubt, anger, fear, we sense loss, feel irritable and even bitter!

BUT AS TIME PASSES, it allows us to have clearer vision to fully understand that for every failure, mistake, pain, loss, or difficult experience, THERE IS A PURPOSE AND A LESSON TO BE LEARNED!

You see, NOTHING you’ve ever been through is wasted!

No trial you’ve ever gone through has been in vain!

FOR OUR SOUL ALWAYS GAINS INSIGHT

AND WE ARE NEVER THE SAME!

  1. This is a real truth you’ve got here. Most certainly, the opposition, the pain, the failure or even the most downright negative occurrence you may have ever faced – has never gone to waste. It is after your victory over them all or your perseverance to end of its phase, would you realize that each one of that situation played a significant role in building and molding you into the refined, more confident self you are today. Thanks for the post – really enjoyed it.

    Good Luck on your blog.

  2. This is an excellent reminder! I think of the verse where it says God works all things for the good of those who love Him. This means both the good and ‘bad’ things in our lives are used for good. Nothing is wasted, because God can use it, if we will let Him. Thanks for sharing.

I hadn’t planned on posting anything else until Monday, but this article really grabbed my attention. I’m of the philosophy that everything happens for a reason, ALL things, good and bad. The trick is,to get some perspective, take a step back and ask yourself “what can I learn from this, what is the lesson in this trial in my life?” This article illustrates that nicely, take a look!

  4. I don’t agree with this. To a certain extent, maybe, but not in it’s entirety. Are you saying that things such as childhood sexual abuse (or any other type of abuse), sexual assault, etc, all happen for a reason? Due to a master plan? I can’t accept this. I’m a survivor, and believe me, when you live through these things, nothing good comes out of it. Sure you can share your story with others, you can use your message. But it’s still not acceptable or part of a plan that this happens. If there’s a god that allows things like this to happen, for the greater good or the lessons it brings, it just proves why I gave up on religion years ago. We can heal from things like this, but trauma has the nasty habit of just popping up in every day life through flashbacks (that you just can’t control), and it stays with you for a lifetime. You’re never really free from it. Please don’t take this as an attack, I’m simply stating my own personal opinion on the matter. 🙂
