When it comes to time, there is a difference between spending your time and investing your time.

To spend means “to use up, consume, deplete or drain.”

To invest means “to devote one’s time, effort or energy to an undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result.”

Make sure you’re investing your time instead of spending it.

Remember time is precious and fleeting.

It’s the one thing you can never get back.

  2. Great words and wisdom to think about. The distinction between the two need to be made so that people understand why some people succeed and work so hard. It’s to invest their time to create a sustainable life or wealth for them in the long-term. Great work.
